Our daughter’s almost 4 months old, and as expected, has been photographed once or twice. A shot from the most recent photo shoot brings you this week’s weekly image. Click on the image for a larger view.

Both images this week were taken with my Canon G9. The first was a macro shot of a flower I liked. The second was of my son, Zachary, who recently celebrated his birthday. Of all my kids, his ‘cheese’ smiles make me laugh the most.

You may have noticed that my posts have dropped off a bit recently. Honestly, I’m taking a step back to brainstorm how I can continue to add value through the blog. I’ve really enjoyed the last six months of posts and want to make sure that things don’t become stale – for me, or for you.

In the meantime, I’m still posting weekly images and will finish up my series on Studio Strobes for Beginners. See the picture below, taken with my 2 studio strobes, some white paper and a $12 item from Home Depot. Stay tuned for more!

I’ve been wanting to do another one of these for a while now. This is a pretty standard multiplicity shot. Multiple frames merged quickly into one. It was shot with my G9. Click on the image for a larger view.
