As I catch up on the posts I've been meaning to make this week, wanted to share here some thoughts on your naming schemes. You made a very good point that different people will have different methods for naming things, and while it's all well and good to go with what works for you individually, when working in a Windows environment, you actually can start to run into problems with long file names if you have several folders and sub-folders in your image management scheme. I forget the exact character limit off the top of my head (I think it's around 255), I do know that with spaces and underscores, it can add up pretty quickly. Just a heads up if you move into folders and sub folders for organizational purposes.
